Day one of our Nashville-centric camper trip.
First thing on the long list of trips, hikes, and visits to make was a stop at Cordell Hull Lake near Carthage to swim at the Defeated Creek swim beach. At the beach I took a picture of a sign that we used to see often at swim beaches in Tennessee. I've never seen then anywhere else and they always give rise to the giggles.

After swimming in the warm waters of Hull we drove to the nearby Tater Knob Overlook. We used to visit here frequently when we lived in the area. When Ben broke his arm it was him swinging on the railing going up the hill to the overlook that let us know he was going to be okay.
On our way back to the campground we were staying at we stopped in Lebanon to roam around Don Fox Park and have a picnic dinner. This is the park were Jake learned to ride his bike, were we used to watch water snakes swim in the creek and we used to play at nearly most days of the week.
